What does the science say?

Simply that Regenerative Omegas has all the omegas you need, more omegas than fish oil and you can expect to get all the health benefits you see with fish oil, but without the fish. Why? Because we’re hard-wired biologically to get what we need from rich plant-based omega sources. Where Regenerative Omegas shines is that it also provides other omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids that help with skin, hormonal balance, and healthy inflammation response — which fish, algal, and flax omega sources do not. You can read more about the science here. With Regenerative Omegas, you are giving your body truly the most complete and balanced omegas backed by strong emerging science by some of the world’s leading lipid researchers.

Remember that humans have been on this Earth for a very long time, evolving and adapting to diverse plant-based diets — nuts, berries, greens, roots, starches, grains. Not many of our primal ancestors had easy access to oily fish like sardines or anchovies — and certainly not to algal omega-3’s. Compelling evidence that plant-based omega-3 sources can provide all the omegas needed for optimal health and vitality keeps coming out. Now, thanks to Regenerative Omegas, you don’t have to forage for them!

Now the technical stuff. Recent science shows that dietary Ahiflower oil not only boosts omega-3 EPA far higher (up to 4x) than flaxseed oil (the dominant plant-based omega-3), it also supports maintaining omega-3 DHA levels most efficiently in mammals, comparably to fish oil. It means that taking wild or farmed fish EPA/DHA sources isn’t truly necessary for healthy adults. That means we humans can do a lot to remove pressure on the forage fish that so many other marine mammals and birds rely on to survive. In fact, every acre of Regenerative Omegas has the equivalent amount of omega-rich oil as 500,000 anchovies. If you’re a seal, that’s something to clap about!
